what is my deal, you ask?
I started gigging regularly in 2017 with my college cover band, Free Advertising – playing 30 song sets at parties, bars, and eventually venues like Mercury Lounge and Gramercy Theater in New York City. Upon graduating college in 2018, I made a commitment to take any gig I could (while working a full-time job), and see how far that would take me – and it’s taken me to some pretty cool places!
Since 2021, I’ve recorded two albums (one at Rancho de la Luna in Joshua Tree), five EPs (one at Electric Lady Studios), and a number of other singles. I finally checked “tour” off my bucket list earlier this year as a bassist for NYC indie artist Nisa on a small east coast tour and another for South by Southwest.
Now, I’m looking for people to make music with in the D.C. area. If you need bass for a live performance, recording, or just want to jam, hit me up!
Hey, I’m Gus, a bassist, songwriter, and vocalist new to D.C. from New Jersey. I’ve been playing bass for 15 years, and few things bring me as much joy as making music with people.
